Purple

I love the colour purple, and somehow without really trying I've collected quite a range of purple clothing in my wardrobe. I think it happened by accident, but I love it, and now actively seek out purple pieces Skirts, t-shirts, jackets, sweaters, scarves, pashminas, and more all seem to find their way into my possession, and now my friends give me purple gifts. My students add to my collection,and I have managed to collect some really quirky things. I have a huge purple watch - with wide plastic bad. It always raises interest! I have dramatic purple jewelry too which complements my outfits, including a huge rings too which add a dramatic effect! I'm finding it rather amusing too - and have quite a lot of fun with it, even to the point that I am now wearing purple eye make up (in rather an understated way) and purple nail polish. And the purple wig and hair piece, though I only wear the former on party occasions. It has become quite addictive now - though not everything I own is purple - just many things, and I find that in the wardrobe, I can use other colours with my purple, and again, some days I don't wear any purple at all, and that causes my friends to question me. Am I going a bit "potty" in my mature years??? |
